(KTVI) ? Carry-on cakes and pies at the airport could cause a delay through Thanksgiving. Be prepared to be stopped.????
The TSA says it?s on high alert for any suspicious Thanksgiving sides this holiday season.
Unless you?re transporting a very small quantity of gravy, the TSA says you?re better off leaving it at home, along with the following items:
- cranberry sauce
- dips and spreads
- gift baskets with food items like jams and syrup
- alcohol
Only 3.5 ounces will be allowed. If you really want to bring along your food items, they have to fit in a quart-sized zip top bag.
