The Village at Penn State, built in 2003, is a luxury upscale entrance fee Continuing Care Retirement Community. The community is located on the rolling hills near the Penn State campus. The Village of Penn State is part of the Liberty Lutheran family of services (www.libertylutheran.org) with a service history of over 125 years. This is very exciting opportunity to join a team of employees committed to world class performance and providing top notch service to our residents. This Executive Director is responsible for providing management and leadership for the Village at Penn State to ensure optimal services for all residents. The Executive Director assures stability, vision, quality of service, and financial viability and growth for The Village at Penn State while providing a positive portrayal of The Village of Penn State within the general community. In order to be successful in this vital position you must have eight years experience in elder care, at least four of which must have been at the senior management or executive level. Academic preparation as would typically be attained at the Master?s Degree level or at a Bachelors Degree level with significant business experience with emphasis in administration, management and business or equivalent experience. Knowledge of effective sales and marketing strategies for an entrance fee community is highly desirable. Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania would be a plus.
